The firmware is now version: V2.01.26. Your ISP will push this to your C6300 automatically. You may find yourself disconnected after the update and will need to power-off/power-on Router after a few minutes. Usually it happens in the backround without interruption.

Re: C6300 firmware update @theselfthinker Netgear's hands are tied in this matter the DOCSIS standard mandates that cable modem firmware is not to be allowed to be updated by end users/customers. In order to protect Cable companies and ISP's from issues and problems resulting in service theft, CableLabs and their DOCSIS specification require all firmware updates to go through ISP.
I pulled the Router/Modem from spectrum, so it's not currently connected to the ISP. After trying another factory reset I'm still unable to get into the C6300. I never had a problem prior to connecting it to spectrum. I've tried above steps from different browsers, clearing history, etc, etc.
I hope you control your downloading anything. Make sure not to allow automatic download without your permission. Also use Adblocker on your browser.
